Is The Transfer of Russian Troops from Ukraine to The Belgorod Region Already Recorded? What They Say in GUR

Ukrainian intelligence has information about the intentions of the aggressor country to transfer its units from the occupied territories to the Russian Federation. But this process first of all needs preparation, the GUR is monitoring the situation.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Andrey Yusov on the air of the telethon.

When asked whether, after the events in the Belgorod region, the transfer of Russian troops from Ukraine to the Russian Federation is recorded, he said that this process requires preparation.

“Yes. There is such information. It is now being checked and monitored. We just have to understand that the transfer of individual units, especially from the front line, is not a very fast process. It needs to be prepared and implemented. We are closely monitoring this information,” Yusov noted.

What is known about the transfer of Russian troops to the Belgorod region

Recently, an RBC-Ukraine source in intelligence reported that the command of Russia’s western military district is making a decision to transfer individual units from Ukraine to the Russian Federation due to the aggravation of the situation on the border in the Belgorod region.

It was about the possible movement of units of the 3rd motorized rifle division of the 20th combined arms army (permanent deployment point of Valuyki, Belgorod region) from the combat area (Makeevka, Ploshchadka, Luhansk region) to the Belgorod region.

Briefly about the situation in the Belgorod region

Recall that recently the “Russian Volunteer Corps” and the Legion “Freedom of Russia”, consisting of citizens of the Russian Federation, launched an operation to liberate the Russian Federation, namely the territory of the Belgorod region from the Putin regime.

After that, the local authorities announced a “counter-terrorist operation regime”, and local residents began to “evacuate” en masse from border settlements.

Yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the so-called liberation of the territories, but the rebels themselves claim that they continue their work.

Analysts, in turn, pay attention to the fact that these events had a great impact on the citizens of the Russian Federation. In particular, they caused panic in the Russian information space, as well as criticism of the Russian army for its inability to strengthen the borders and the weakness of the fortifications erected in the regions.
